Student pastor

Husband to Brianna (or Bri), and a father to Leon and Cyrus. Bri and I have been married for 4 years but have been together for 7 years. My family and I spent 4 years at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary before coming to CBIC, where I obtained a Master of Divinity as well as a Master of Theology in Preaching. I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and my wife has a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Gerontology, all three issued from Shippensburg University. We love the Bible, we love Jesus, we get crazy excited about preaching and educating people about God and His Word, we especially love equipping people to read the Bible in it’s proper context and how to interpret it rightly, we are passionate about hospitality and getting to know people over food or a cup of coffee, and we love to explore! If 4 years of seminary taught us anything, it’s that the Bible is far, far, far deeper then we could ever hope to fully explore in our lives. So, we look forward to the day when our Lord Jesus will return to make all things new, but until then, we eagerly and faithfully pursue the call God has placed on our lives to minister to God’s people, love and reach the lost, and partner with God and His church in bringing restoration to His creation. Also, we love Christmas… like really love it. We start listening to Christmas music way earlier than we should.
